Denver PrideFest, June 19 and 20, Civic Center Park, Denver, CO The 7th largest in the country, Denver’s PrideFest is a celebration of community and culture. PrideFest draws more than 300,000 people from Colorado and surrounding areas, who come out to enjoy the parade, rally, music on 5 different stages, entertainment, food and much more. Education 4 Action, Spring and Fall, The Center
Education 4 Action is a workshop series hosted by Rainbow Alley.
Through political education, youth organizing 101 and anti-oppression training, Education 4 Action gives LGBT youth the skills necessary to build personal and political power. These hands-on workshops incorporate media making, art, theatre and popular education that are relevant to the lives of queer youth in and around Denver. Queer Prom is exactly what it sounds like! That magical night in every high school student’s life that holds the promise of every possibility. It’s an opportunity for LGBT youth and allies ages 12 to 21 to enjoy this rite of passage with the person they truly want to be with, dressed the way feel they want to be dressed. More than 300 youth attend annually and dance the night away in a safe and welcoming environment! Find that perfect tuxedo or the dress you can’t live without, and we’ll see you there! Youth Alley at Denver PrideFest

Youth Alley is an interactive safe space dedicated to youth at Denver PrideFest. Aimed at promoting fun and good health, Youth Alley is alive with music, entertainment, dancing, and much more. If you’re between the ages of 12 and 24 come down to Youth Alley in Civic Center Park and discover all that things that you have to be proud of! Celebrate your family and your pride at this free event at the Children’s Museum. Plenty of fun will be on hand, as well as resources for your LGBT family. Ongoing Programming at Rainbow Alley
Rainbow Alley Dinner and a Movie
Every Saturday Rainbow Alley hosts dinner and a movie for youth who visit the Alley. Around 50 youth participate each week, and all youth ages 12 to 21 are welcome.
Qings & Kweens Dance Crew
The Dance Crew is a casual group of youth who choreograph and perform a variety of dance styles and genres. The group performs at Rainbow Alley and community events. Dance practices and classes are scheduled on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Get out the old leg warmers and tap shoes and we’ll see you there!
